1. Introduction

Welcome to BandhaneBank (Bandhan Co-Operative Thrift & Credit Society Limited). By accessing our website, becoming a member, or using any of our services (Savings Account, RD, FD, Loans, etc.), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all members and visitors.

2. Membership

Membership is open to eligible individuals as per the society’s bye-laws. Every member must:

  • • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • • Submit valid KYC documents (Aadhaar, PAN, Address Proof, etc.)
  • • Pay the prescribed share capital / admission fee
  • • Abide by the rules and bye-laws of the society
  • • Maintain good conduct and timely repayment of any dues

3. Savings, RD & FD Products

Interest rates, tenure, and terms of Savings Account, Recurring Deposit (RD) and Fixed Deposit (FD) are as decided by the Managing Committee from time to time and are subject to change.

  • • Deposits are accepted only from registered members
  • • Premature withdrawal of RD/FD may attract penalty as per society rules
  • • Interest is calculated and paid as per the scheme chosen
  • • The society reserves the right to modify product features with due notice

4. Loan Facilities

Loans (Personal, Home, Vehicle, Business, Education, Group) are sanctioned solely at the discretion of the society after proper appraisal.

  • • Eligibility, interest rate, tenure and security are decided case-by-case
  • • Member must repay EMIs / installments on time
  • • Default may attract additional interest, recovery action and legal proceedings
  • • The society may recall the loan in case of violation of terms
  • • All loan documents must be signed by the member and guarantor (if any)

5. Member Obligations

  • • Keep contact details (mobile, email, address) updated with the society
  • • Do not share login or account credentials with anyone
  • • Inform the society immediately in case of any change in financial status affecting repayment
  • • Use the society’s services only for lawful purposes

6. Website Usage

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India and the Cooperative Societies Act applicable in Delhi. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi.

9. Changes to Terms

The society reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
